Donor Change

If the donor fails any screening, or if the cycle is cancelled for any reason prior to retrieval (and the donor has not started injectable medications), the full agency fee will be applied to a subsequent Precious Pearl donor cycle. If you do not wish to choose a replacement donor, Precious Pearl will refund 50% of the agency fee. If medication has not been started, 100% of the donor egg fee is refundable or transferable to another donor. Expenditures for any outside services that have already been rendered to the donor are non-refundable.

When Payments Are Due

1st Installment: The intended parent(s) must pay all required agency fees, donor psychological screening fees, donor travel costs for medical screenings, and legal expenses as soon as the Agency Agreement is signed by all parties.

2nd Installment: All remaining fees – including the egg donor fee, donor cycle insurance, donor cycle medication and anticipated travel expenses – are due two weeks prior to the start of IVF medications.

Egg donors will not begin receiving injectable medications until all payments have been deposited into Precious Pearl’s trust account.

How much does egg donation cost from state to state?

Every egg donation case is unique and involves factors that can impact the overall price. The average cost of using an egg donor can range from $20,000 to $40,000 depending on the individual arrangements. In states like California, where egg donors are in high demand, the price may be slightly higher. Legal requirements and the costs of other services can also vary from state to state. However, the cost of egg donation doesn’t vary greatly between major metropolitan cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and New York City.
